Red Salute to Comrade Nurul Huda The Central Executive Committee of SFI registers its deep condolence on the demise of Com. Nurul Huda and Salutes his legendary life as a champion of peoples cause. Com. Nurul Huda, former MP and veteran communist leader passed away in Kolkata, today. Comrade Nurul Huda has been active in communist movement for more than six decades ever since he joined the movement in 1949. His role both in peoples movement and as peoples representative will always be remembered and inspire generations. Comrade Nurul has served as Member of Parliament and member of legislative assembly different terms. Com. Nurul was a Central Committee member of CPIM for a long time. He was also active in the national leadership of All India Kisan Sabha and All India Fishers and Fisheries Workers’ Federation. Com. Nurul Huda’s immense contributions will be upheld by all the democratic and progressive sections. His lifelong fights for downtrodden will remain as a text to all those who are engaged in the struggles for justice. The student movement also recognizes the huge loss and expresses our condolence.
